Shipix B.V. is a Dutch company that provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, designed to integrate with various systems. Our solution is primarily aimed at logistics service providers to enhance their Transport Management Systems (TMS).

Shipix B.V. acts as the data controller for the processing of personal data as described in this Privacy Policy, unless stated otherwise.

2. What personal data we process and its origin

2.1 Data collected automatically during your visit to our website

Certain technical information is automatically transmitted to our web servers and stored in server log files. This Usage Data may include:

  • Controller vs. Processor: Customers are data controllers; we act as a processor and follow customer instructions.
  • Customer Privacy Policy: Please consult the privacy policy of the logistics service provider for specific processing information.

4. Purposes of processing your data

Where Shipix acts as data controller, we process data for:

  • Managing and improving our Website
  • Providing customer support
  • Complying with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
  • Protecting rights or legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

5. Retention period

Data is retained for as long as necessary for the fulfilled purposes or legal obligations. Thereafter, it is deleted or anonymised.

  • Server log files: maximum 7 days
  • Contact form submissions: for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, possibly longer if legally required

6. Data transfers outside the EU/EEA

When transferring outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards, including:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (approved by the European Commission)
  • Transfer Impact Assessments
